Aventures is a partnership between AFC Merchant Bank (incorporated as Asean Finance Corporation Limited in 1981) and a team of experienced investment managers. AFC is the first truly Asean joint-venture amongst leading banks and financial institutions from Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore and Thailand. Besides merchant banking activities, AFC has used its own capital to make venture capital and private equity investments since 1987. The Aventures management team has more than 20 years of combined venture capital and private equity investing experience in established funds and institutions in Singapore.
